Chief Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain full accounting books in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and submitting tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, and others).
- Prepare reports for external institutions (GUS, NBP, and others).
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Supervise the proper flow of accounting documents and internal processes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and adapting accounting procedures accordingly.
- Optimize and improving accounting processes.
- Represent the company during external audits and in dealings with the Social Insurance - Institution (ZUS) and other authorities.
- Collaborate closely with other departments within the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
- Strong practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and current tax regulations.
- Higher education in accounting or a related field.
- Proven ability to design and implement accounting processes and procedures.
- High level of conscientiousness, accuracy, and dedication to assigned responsibilities.
- Polish C1+ and English B2+.
- Ability to work from our office in Wroclaw.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of Comarch Optima.
